What are some great gifts to buy a seven year old little girl?

I am going Christmas shopping for my daughter today. What are some good ideas for Christmas. What is amount is too much toys? What is a resaonable amount?

I don't think there is an amount that is specifically defined as "too much" toys for a child. Think about your budget, how much she plays with the toys she already has, and what she might appreciate to have the most. If you think you've hit the limit on how many toys you want her to have, buy her some clothes as well. Another idea since she is 7 would be to give her a gift card. I know she's your daughter, but at that age she would probably really enjoy to pick out her own clothes. My neice is 7 and really has her own opinion about her clothes. As far as toy ideas are concerned, my neice asks for the Bratz dolls, anything to do with make-up, purses, barbies, etc. You really can't go wrong if you go to Toys-r-Us and buy things in her age range. Reply:I bought my 8 year old daughter some games, puzzles, a camera, accessories to go with some toys she already has, new jammies, Bratz styling head, TMX Elmo--that's all that's coming to mind. She's a bit of a tomboy though so she's not really into dolls and "girlie" things too much.





Some other ideas are a doll house with accessories (people, furniture), play makeup, Polly Pockets, and dress-up clothes.





I don't know what is too much. I'm sure I bought too many for my 2 girls but I start early and then lose track of how much I've bought. Hey, it's only once year right?
Reply:Anything over 25.00 is to much I think. Barbies, Brat Dolls, fake food and dishes, dress up clothes and jewelry

If your budget is small, then things like plastic jewelry is a great idea.


or coloring books and crayons.


if your budget is higher, anything from the *pink* aisle in walmart or some store like that will be just great.

Reply:there is a new type of doll / talking parrot. it has an inbuilt recorder. it records the kids voice for abt 30 secs and then replays the voice recorded. price is also cheap abt 10 $. would make a great gift for 7 years kid.
