I am sick of buying bookstore giftcards. Is there anything fitting for a "buisness", "biology", and "spanish" teachers?
What are good gifts for the best teachers ever?
The biggest gift is your words in a card with reasons why they are the best teachers you have had and how they helped you individually. Teachers teach to give, they love seeing growth in students! Something very little, we don't expect anything in return, expensive gifts not necessary! If you must though (and I understand! :)! ) My favourites things to use in the room - a special note book with interesting cover, a plant for the classroom, reusable inspiration flip calendar, inexpensive pens always handy, a hanging mobile/ angel/ crystals. Personal - cheap funky accessories, bath/ relaxation creams, sounds old fashioned but even a pretty hanker chief?!!! Or modern take - a groovy tissue holder for his/ her desk! I've been given wine, expensive jewellery etc and appreciate it all...but honestly words are our reward! My two favourites are a wall plaque that says " Teachers are special they all do their part - but your work is special you teach from your heart ", I also treasure a laminated photo of one of my students with a hand written letter on the back on why she will never forget me! The best gift is reasons to keep going, a thank you card with your own words is honestly more than enough - you the student are our inspirations! P.S. Your teachers are lucky to have such a thoughtful student!
Reply:No worries, good luck with whatever you choose to do. x Report It
Reply:apples- if they are good teachers, they will love apples :)
Reply:If the teachers are women,I would try a gift card for a spa or some were to pamper them for a day. What about a gift card for a dinner.
Reply:Try writing a really sincere letter expressing your appreciation for everything the teacher has done. It's nice to get presents, but I have really appreciated the letters I have received over the years.
Reply:Well, we do not expect gifts....and when we do receive them we really appreciate it, but so many times it is something such as the last gift I got.....some funky colored candle holders. I think the best thing you could do is write them a note or tell them personally how much they mean to you or how much you enjoy their class. I am a Spanish teacher.....and the best gift you could give to me is showing that you really care about your education and tell me about stories when you go out of your way to use Spanish....such as helping someone out at your job that can't speak English.
Reply:whisky
wine
cakes
personalised diaries
persoanlised pens
expensive pens
Reply:They're always using pens. A nice Cross Pen will never collect dust in their drawer.
Reply:Write them a personal letter that explains the effect they've had on your life, how they have shaped your world. Maybe on some nice stationary. I think that would be personal and something they would cherish always.
Reply:Anything involving apples is out, as well as advice from anyone who includes apples as a great gift for the best teachers ever.
For all 3 types of teachers, a gift card to someplace useful will be appreciated. My favorite gift card has been to a spa. I would have NEVER gone to one before, but it ended up being a super great day (and super cheap b/c of the card). A card to a local electronics store or movie passes would be nice too.
Reply:key chains, or those figurines that saying "best teacher", teddy bears (those small ones) that can be displayed on their tables or cars
Reply:A good bottle of wine. That is what I gave mine
Reply:touching a child's life! the children are the best gifts for teachers! knowing that a child has learned something that he/she will never forget, and knowing that the child remembers who taught that to him/her is the best.
Reply:Teacher totes are always popular. You can find them online at Dallas Wholesalers.
Reply:Aromatic candles

Reply:WaWa gift card
Reply:Personalized pens, things like pencil cups or paper weights to have on their desk .
Reply:Bake them something! I always make chocolate covered strawberries for my teachers. I like the letter idea too.
