What are some good gifts from the United States to bring to a Spanish family?

I am going to Spain next week and I would like to bring the family I am staying with some unique gifts from the U.S.--things that aren't available over there, but that aren't too cheesy, either (e.g., random objects plastered with the American flag).

Reply:Hhmm, how about a little Statue of Liberty, or maybe a nice book with lots of pictures of nice places from the U.S. A nice cook book with authentic American recipes. Something Mexican , like Tequila (the real one with the worm in it).


Seeds of plants we do not have in Europe. A "Hot-dog-kit", it has everything that you need to make a good hot dog. Last but not least, some nice quilted blankets
Reply:Depends on where you live in the US. Is there something that is only made in the US where you live? I live in California, and bring people who aren't from here the chocolates made here. But, Europe has great chocolates, so that might not be the best. But think of something in that realm. Like perhaps, a good California wine. Or how about something that American Indians made? Reply:Spanish wine is good, something done by american natives is a great gift. I know americans are very proud of their flag, same with all other nationalities, try not to buy something with the american flag being the focus of the gift.
