What gifts can I give my friends from Hawaii?

I am going to Hawaii and want to give back some free or inexpensive gifts for my friends. Any ideas? I would really like to give someone a ukulale, about how much would that cost?

What gifts can I give my friends from Hawaii?
Head over to Hilo Hatties. You'll find some great gifts at reasonable prices AND you won't find yourself overcharged for them like you would in Waikiki. There is a free shuttle from most Waikiki hotels so you wouldn't even have to pay for parking or a rental car to get there.

Another option would be to spend some time at the Swap Meet at Aloha Stadium. It's a large open air market but you'll find some good deals if you're willing to walk around and take the time.

Happy hunting and happy travels!

Hawaiian Kona coffee makes a nice gift for coffee lovers...

Hawiian shirts!!!... probably made in China... LOL

You could probably find some good Hawiian music CDs...
Reply:Use a clean empty jar and put a couple of inches of water in it. Tell them it is 'mainland snow', or was before it melted.
Reply:If you are going to Oahu then the best place to go for souvenirs is the Aloha Stadium Flea Market, it is Wed/Sat/Sun from 6:30 am to 3:30 am. There you can get fake flower leis or shell leis, tshirts, etc.. They are all vary reasonable. You can also find ukulele's there for a decent price.
Reply:some cute necklaces and shirts that told them where you went. or like a cute little bag. and if you want it simple and fre, a few shells or two!
Reply:If you want an ukulele just for show, they go for about $20. You can't really play them as the strings are crap, but they make a cute gift. If you want to give someone an ukulele to PLAY, well, that'll set you back about $700. My cousin makes them and there's a lot of workmanship that goes into it.

Other cute cheap gifts can include some shirts, jewelery, or maybe a coconut tree. They sell the coconut already sprouting and ready to ship.
Reply:You got a lot of good ideas. You may be able to find a cheap toy ukulele, but a good instrument will set you back big bucks. If you check out ABC Stores (there is one on almost every block in Waikiki) you will see lots of inexpensive gifts that you could bring back to your friends.
Reply:Gifts galore! Try buying a couple of boxes of chocolate macadamia nuts--they are awesome. Also you can buy lots of t-shirts, fresh pineapple shipped directly to friends, luau food, inexpensive coral souveniers, etc. Depends on how much you want to spend.
