What are some very inexpensive gifts a 3 year old would like?

I have a daughter who is 3 and I am going to go Christmas shopping for her but I swear the kid likes the cheap toys or the box it comes in better than anything else! LOL

What are some good ideas for gifts?

Just get her a big box. Then it can be a house, a car, a space ship or anything that she thinks it can be. You might even cut windows in it that she can open and close.
Reply:be careful, kind of hard to pick out toys with all the lead poisioning, recalls and aqua dots putting kids in comas.
Reply:I know, my house is full of 99 cent store toys! my daughter loves playdough, crayons, little stuffed animals - anything that is small. Also, at around 3, she started getting into 'princess' stuff, so Disney movies should also do the trick. Or dress-up stuff. have fun
Reply:Well children at that age are very attentive, especially to things that make noise or are very colorful. A big box as some people told you just wont work because she's prone to get bored with that after a while. But they have things like games that you can plug into your television and do activities or there are dolls that laugh or talk. One toy that worked in my family with the children was the talking/vibrating Elmo doll. My nieces and nephews stayed glued to that toy for months. Among other things there are dolls that dance which I have noticed to be a favorite among most girls in that age range. All these toys can be found at very low prices. Good Luck with shopping......
Reply:A flashlight.
Reply:I don't know if you have a big lots around you, but they have some really cute and extremely cheap toys.
Reply:In my experience, the box the toys came in. Get a box and decorate it - they'll play with it for days.
Reply:One year my toddler nephew got all this fancy stuff...reel expensive from the whole family, but I wuz pore, and bought him a plastic car ($1.98) and some bubble soap (%26amp;.79). He

liked my gifts the best! My sibs were a little miffed!
Reply:Brat dolls

Barbie dolls

Elmo

Dora
Reply:Some chunky puzzles, and she is getting old enough to be able to get candyland, and chutes and ladders. Most can be found for around $5.
Reply:My 3yr old daughter wants a lap top like her dad. They are going really cheap on ebay and because they dont use them very much they are as good as new.
Reply:Coloring books and stickers are super cheap.
Reply:Bubble wrap.
Reply:What about some cheap board games like Memory, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders? They are appropriate for 3 and up. Is she creative? Play Doh, Coloring Books, Finger Paints are good.
Reply:Building blocks or those really large legos
Reply:A card board box.And im not trying to be funny, kids these age find these very amusing and great for building there imaganation.Or even better try toys r us to find a play house of some sort.
Reply:I have a 3 year old boy, and he is interested in blocks...or anything with letters.
Reply:well ask her what she would like. then check toys-r-us for the best deals
Reply:my nieces when they were 3 yrs old loved puzzles and drawing stuff. they also liked simple card matching memory games. Anything Disney. Cinderella was a big hit.
Reply:anything mental, thats to say to do with puzzles and logic getwm when theyre young, colouring books, interactive dvd games
Reply:shiny, dull edged objects too big to swallow...
Reply:Get a bunch of boxes (shoe boxes are good), paint them all different colors (inside and out) and get some small people figures, animals and - voila- you've got a house! She can move around all the "rooms" and decorate the inside by drawing windows (project for the 2 of you together), attaching scraps of fabric for window shades, building simple furniture. You can get some wood blocks for beds! Be creative - this is a fun, interactive and inexpensive project. And it'll give you more constructive play time together.
Reply:Crayons and a coloring book. I went out and bought my kids all this stuff when they were like 3-5 years old and they loved the crayons and coloring books and boxes the stuff came in the most. I bought them a bunch of boxes one year. They loved it!
Reply:If have a "dollor store", "99Cent stuff" or "dollar tree"in your area you may want to try looking there. They've got tons of toys.
Reply:Find her a huge box and draw on it to make it look like a play house.
Reply:How about DVDs that you both can watch together. 3 is a great age for developing language skills, colors, and even math! I hear the Einstein series is great for kids. Merry Christmas!
Reply:a tri-cycle, then she can have a cool toy and a big box!
Reply:many times kids that young are more thrilled with the packaging of their present than the actual present ;)
Reply:get some educational toys those are the best ones and they can learn with them
Reply:Educational items that are cheap~books, puzzles, playdoh or clay, finger paints and paper, anything crafty really.
Reply:i know exactly how you feel. I have a 3 year old and she is not a picky kid at all. She is really into baby dolls. She likes to put them to sleep, feed them...that sort of thing. She likes barbies also. Shes been eyeballing that Rose Petal Cottage on the tv lately. Its the cutest thing. Anything to do with outside too. Also, drawing and coloring!!!

My suggestion is get her something thats going to keep her active. Im getting my daughter a trampoline for christmas (the one with the net around it) and also a new babydoll and Rose Petal Cottage. There not all that expensive.
