How would you feel if everybody in the company receive gifts except you?

I just happened this week when the CEO gave gifts to all of the employees that I work;however I didn't receive one. Also, I work for the company more than 1 year. How would you feel if everybody receive gifts except you?

I would ask your superior why it was that you didn't receive a gift. So that is doesn't sound weird just say that you were worried that they are not happy with your job performance. This way you can bring it up in a way that allows you to look like you are trying to be the best employee. Good luck, but really say something because that is not right.
Reply:i'd look for a new job. You are not liked for whatever reason. Do not go soliciting / asking for a gift. It does not make you look good. If you like this job, try to do a better job / figure out the personalities so that you are on the list next year. If you don't like the job that much, then I would get out of there. EITHER WAY ... I'd leave. In the best case, they are inneficient and forgot you (not acceptable) OR they deliberatly ommitted you ( not acceptable ) . Both are dealbreakers for me. I'd be out of there no later than spring. Have a week vacation in between jobs and forget about stupid or petty people ! Your better than that . Sorry this happened. Happy Holidays !
Reply:Perhaps he forgot you from his list. Or, perhaps he has purchased gifts for others because he considers them not just co-workers, but personal friends. In any event, don't let it affect you. Gifts are much nicer when they are received from friends and loved ones, and not from people out of obligation.

Reply:I would feel absolutely terrible. I would probably act like it was no big deal, or not discuss it at all. Then I would go home and express my concern, disappointment, and embarrassment with being the only one that did not get a gift.
Reply:I have worked at places that required the hourly employees to contribute to a gift for management. I didn't want to but if your name wasn't on the card with the gift you knew the new year wasn't gonna be so good. I'm sorry you got treated this way.
Reply:I would be hurt honestly, everyone else recieves something except for me, i think I would be pretty hurt and feel like I mean nothing to the company....NO one appreciates me...
