I need ideas for christmas cracker gifts?

I am making my own christmas crackers and need suggestions on inexpensive gifts to fill them.

Depends on how many you are making, and whom for.





For kids, I would suggest: stickers, small erasers, rubber balls, plastic animals, rings, and other age-appropriate things (nothing too small for the little ones).





For teens: gel pens, glow sticks, earrings or bracelet, keyring, pin, stickers, candy, gift card (eg. $5 from Walmart or McDonald's, or wherever they like), phone card for their cell phone, cell phone charms, zipper pull, etc.





For adults you really are limited only by what the person likes.





For the chef, perhaps a mini whisk, spatula or cheese knife. Small packets of food items (eg. hot coacoa or chicken noodle soup).





For the gamer, a gift card for their favorite store, or a brand new cheat code printed on nice paper.





For the animal rights person, perhaps a donation to their favorite charity, or a coupon to donate your time at their charity of choice.





For the crafter, there are lots of bits and bobs at the dollar store that will please them!





Open your mind to options that are not the "norm". Think beyond what is normally in a cracker, and add your own personal twist :D

Reply:well go to walmart in the party aisle they have some cheap stuff. also candy. confetti..small bells, bows, santa cut outs, same with xmas trees, and snowmen, stuff that says merry christmas. or better yet fake snow...
Reply:Christmas Crackers seem to be an English tradition. Crackers were placed on the table next to each plate and each person opened one, on a holiday, birthday or special occassion. Inside you may include paper hats, that roll up, finger puzzles, candy, little whistles, beads, rings, or any little thing you can find at a party store.
Reply:I put in mini alcohol bottles - all recipients are adults; and scratch %26amp; win tickets. Individually wrapped chocolates are good, too. I add a bell so there's festive cheer when the crackers are shaken. A friend of mine has used small christmas ornaments in the past - they were well received by her guests.





If you want longer crackers, cut desired length from paper towel rolls or wrapping paper rolls, instead of limiting yourself to the size of toilet paper rolls.
